CO48 Process Totalisor

The CO48 Powered Process Totaliser is a programmable instrument that has been designed to accept pulses from open collector, hall affect, turbine meters or 24VDC voltage pulse. The input measurement is shown on either a high contrast eight (8) digit LED or LCD display.

The instruments incorporate field programmable totalising rates and a 24VDC isolated supply for powering remote sensors. The CO48 is supplied in a panel mount 48 x 96 mm enclosure. Screw terminal electrical connection is included.


Input Details
  • The instrument accepts an input from 0 to 2KHZ and is dip switch selectable for open collector, reed, Hall, Namur and turbine signals (from 20mV peak to peak).

Output Details
  • One output relay with a normally open contact rated at 1 amp 240VAC resistive.
  • The CO48 incorporates either an eight (8) digit 10mm character height (LED) or a single line backlit LCD 8 digit 9.6 mm high characters.
Decimal Point
  • Programmable from the front panel for no dp or 9999999.9
K Factor
  • This is the pulses per unit of measure. It is programmable from the front panel.
Totaliser Memory
  • The instrument incorporates a running and a background total.
  • This is done by connecting a normally open push button between terminals 1 and 6.
Environmental Parameters
  • 0-70 degrees Celsius.
  • 0-90% rh non-condensing.

Transducer Power Supply
  • A 24VDC at 30mA transducer power supply is incorporated in the instrument.

Mounting Details
  • Panel mounting aluminium enclosure of case dimensions 96 mm wide by 48 mm high by 110 mm deep with a panel cut out of 90 mm wide by 43 mm high.
Configuration of the Instrument
  • The display intensity, decimal points, scaling factor and output relay are programmed by the front touch buttons and the values are stored in eeprom for 10 years.
