IDA4 Quad Setpoint Alarm

The IDA4 Set point Controller is a 85-250VAC or 12 to 40VDC powered four (4) set point digital controller with a 5 digit LED display which is supplied in a din rail mount enclosure that can switch 240VAC at five (5) amperes resistive with 99% dead band. The instruments functions are touch switch programmable from the front panel. A 24VDC loop power supply at 30mA is available for the direct connection of two (2) wire transmitters. Screw terminal electrical connection is included.

Specifications

INPUT DETAILS

The instrument has a bipolar differential input. To realise the accuracy a temperature compensated band gap reference is used in the ratio metric measurement system. The standard instrument is set for 4-20mA and 0-10VDC operation. Other ranges of are available. Please consult factory.

OUTPUTS
  • Four switch point relays are provided with form C (changeover) contacts rated at five (5) amperes 240VAC resistive.
  • Each output can be configured as active high, active low with hysteresis or control alarm [output configured to be active between high and low set points].
DISPLAY

The IDA4 has a 5 digit 10mm character height high contrast light emitting diode (LED) display with a viewing distance of 3 metres with programmable intensity.

DECIMAL POINT

The decimal point position is programmed from the front panel.

CONFIGURATION OF THE INSTRUMENT

This is a digital instrument and the display intensity, decimal points, input range, relays on and off switch points and hysteresis are programmed by the front touch buttons and the values are stored in eeprom for 10 years.
